SOFT  PASTEL  ART


Soft Pastels is Basically the small, Square, Soft Chalks, that are available  in every color.  The easiest and latest way to Drawing and painting, is with soft pastels. Many of the artist prefer the soft pastels instead of the other painting and drawing techniques, because this technique is less time taking.

Chalks of Soft Pastels is look like too soft and smooth that can easily be Blend with each other. The small kids and the beginners can easily made a very creative things and ideas on the Pastel or any other sheet.

The Texture of soft  pastels is powdery and blow with air, so, to fix it on the sheet, we use the Lacquer Spray on the painting that we made with soft Pastels. 





The advantage of soft pastels is, it is very comfortable to handle and it is very easy to paint with.


SOFT  PASTEL TECHNIQUE

The technique of soft pastel for the beginners is that, they may take start from the still objects like; Fruits, glasses or any kind of still object they can use.
To show the realistic view in the painting or drawing is depend on blending. if the blending is so soft then the image is not shown realistic but if the blending is not so smooth then it will be shown as a realistic view.

SMOOTH  BLENDING 

Smooth blending is apply on a image to show a  smooth texture or smooth sheet.
The smooth blending is apply on a drawing with the help of fingers and with the help of cotton buds. but this type of blending is not so realistic and attractive one.





REALISTIC  BLENDING


Realistic blending is not smooth blending. it is shown as a rough blending with the pastels color chalks.
it shown a realistic look in a painting or  drawing.
It is mostly used in nature paintings or a very close flower paintings.







OBJECT  PAINTING


Object painting with soft  pastels is very easy and very common. The object may still. 
The beginners of art can try the object painting with soft pastels on the pastel sheet or scholar sheet, and after paint with the pastels, spray a quantity of  Lacquer spray on the painted sheet to fix the powder of colorful  pastel chalks.
